The spring golf season is officially here. Whether your shoes and clubs have been in storage the last few months or you're lucky enough to live in an area that allows you to play all year round, we have a sneaky suspicion that you may be in desperate need of a golf shoe upgrade. The best golf shoes are designed to last upwards of three to five years, but if you're playing in tough conditions, are hard on your feet or don't take care of them properly, you may need to switch out those kicks more often.

Take a look on the bottom of the shoe, are the spikes fraying or loose? If you've got a spikeless pair, it's easy to see if the heel or midsole is worn or flattened. Even the laces can be a tell as to when it's a good idea to invest in a new pair of golf shoes—if they're stiff and covered in mud, chances are you may need to take a little better care of your shoes if you want them to last.

To help in the golf shoe shopping process, our editors scoured all the new releases to find the best golf shoes available for every type of golfer. Whether you're looking for a golf shoe with all-weather traction, need a little extra cushioning during walking rounds or are in search of a stylish pair that'll go with everything, we've rounded up the 65 men's golf shoes (and 44 women's shoes, here) you need to know about. —Brittany Romano
